A/W 15 Jimmy Choo collection

What do you get if you combine a ballerina with catwoman?

The new A/W 15 Jimmy Choo collection

If you are an avid reader of Time2Gossip you will know that I do own a few pairs of Jimmy Choos and they are worth every penny. It's one of the very few luxuries I allow myself, but they are by far the comfiest heels I have ever owned.

So as you can imagine getting a sneak preview of the Autumn Winter 2015 Collection was fantastic and great to understand the inspiration behind the range. On the downside by the time I left, I had spent a few £100 in my head - Choo dreaming.

Don't you just love them!!!

The Concept

The latest collection explores the elegance of ballet, tangled with bondage which is an odd concept but it really works with the Jimmy Choo brand. Think ribbons, leather, organza bows and a focus on the ankle.

There is a real focus on detail as always with Jimmy Choo, the delicate nature of velvet alongside rich leather matches the subtle pinks contrasted with richer hues of teal, red, cinnamon and black. Along with these colours and fabrics, Jimmy Choo introduces a new rounded toe, which will feature on some of the classic stiletto designs to new Ballet inspired flats.

My favourite by far is the shoe bootie in black leather which had a delicate velvet trim and a tantalizing leather ribbon tied into a bow which sits on the back of the ankle – oh how I wish I owned these.

Which are your favourite?

Love at first sight? We all know first impressions count for a lot, and hall appeal is most definitely the new kerb appeal, as a stylish hallway can make a real style statement in any home. However, more often than not, this part of the home is neglected, used as a dumping ground by the kids and the bottom of the priority list when it comes to redecorating.

However, the hallway is often the first sight guests see when you open the front door, from neighbours popping by, to parents dropping children off after play dates, so make sure you make a lasting impression with yours.

To add a bit of love to your hallway this spring, why not upgrade your staircase? This may seem like a long and difficult task, but changing stair parts is actually much quicker and more hassle-free than you might think.

Richard Burbidge, the stair parts expert, offers a range of simple-to-install stair parts to suit any style or budget. The Heritage range is ideal for creating an impressive hallway space. The luxury oak range comes in white oak, with a wide choice of turned or plain spindle and newel designs, creating a unique and timeless feature.

Alternatively, the FUSION® range, features glass panels that create the illusion of light and space, ideal for dark, narrow hallways. To further lighten and brighten your hallway the use of light pastel shades and strategically placed mirrors can help make your hallway the stairway to heaven!

Changing stair parts may seem like a big commitment, particularly when choosing a feature staircase, however,The Richard Burbidge ranges come with comprehensive installation instructions, and some ranges feature pre-drilled hand and base rails, meaning that different styles can be easily fitted, making updating your staircase as simple as a new lick of paint.

To find out how you can transform your hall with new stair parts, visit www.stairproject.co.uk. Here you’ll find an array of the latest interior design trends, as well as Richard Burbidge’s handy planning tool, which can help with the designing of your new stairs.

How to achieve Flawless Skin

It's been a while since I posted a beauty post but don't fear, I am hoping there will be one every Tuesday! Today's post is about my new favourite foundation the 'Everlasting Foundation' from Clarins, it’s making my skin look pretty darn good.

It's not just me that loves the 'Everlasting Foundation' as it has become one of Clarins best sellers and I can see why. On application the liquid foundation feels like powder creating a flawless complexion and I can still see the results even after a long day at work. It's easy to top up as it blends in with your natural complexion ensuring you get an even blend as the colour pigments are evenly distributed. The key ingredient that provides this is bamboo powder which enhances your matifying properties, giving the foundation exceptional hold and minimises flaws such as redness and dark circles.

Another plus is the SPF which lasts up to 18 hours and cares for your skin with anti-pollution, anti-free radical and 100% mineral anti-UVB-uva benefits.

As you know I love a good looking bottle and this foundation comes is a 30ml frosted glass bottle and sits neatly on any vanity table. You can buy this baby below for around £27.50

This is my favourite, what's yours?

In the photos the shade is 105 Nude

Restaurant Review: Manhattan Grill

The Manhattan Grill is part of the Marriott Hotel, based in West India Quay and what makes this restaurant stand out, is not only the incredible steaks but the person who prepares them…he used to be President Barack Obama’s former chef, so you feel quite special when you eat them.

West India Quay is at the heart of Canary Wharf’s business quarters so you can usually get a good table in the evenings and on weekends, although I wouldn't want to venture here during lunch time as there would just be a sea of suits.

As you walk into the Marriott Hotel, take a moment to look around and take in the other delights the Marriott offers, you will spot the recently opened ‘G&Tea Bar’ with an eye-watering amount of gin based concoctions such as Ophir – a gin which has been infused with spices from every port on its journey.

Please note if you don’t want to be squiffy by dessert venture here after the meal or you will end up like moi.
