Ever heard of Poutine? No, well you are in for a treat especially if you live in or around London as you can visit!

Air Canada is putting the iconic Canadian dish: Poutine on the UK map to showcase 10 #CoolNotCold destinations in the Americas which you can fly to this winter and want everyone to try it. As a foodie I just couldn't resist, especially when I was told the base of the dish is chips, cheese and gravy - what is not to love.

Name: Air Canada Poutinerie

Location: 52-56 Kingsland Rd, Shoreditch, London, E2 8DP

Nearest tube: Old Street

Opening hours: Only open until 11^th November: 12pm until 4pm and 5pm to 10.30pm daily

The Cost: prices start from £3.50 and the portion is pretty reasonable.

Queuing:  Around 5 mins. You may not get a table as its very popular but there is always somewhere to perch.

What is to love: Amazing food, aviation themed interior including virtual reality experience and great Canadian wine. Also Air Canada Poutinerie is proudly supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.

The pop-up is in a lounge style bar setting, offering an array of craft beer, homemade root beer and Canadian wine as well as delicious poutine. Each poutine dish is with a twist

and inspired by an Air Canada destination you can fly to this winter you have:

Toronto the 6ix: Sweet potato fries, maple-soy pork cuts, kimchee, cheese curd, green onion and mayo.

Seattle’s Emerald City Burger Gravy: Fries, peanut-chipotle butter, hamburger gravy, Kraft Cheese, pickled gherkin.

Montreal’s The French: Frites, confit de canard, Comté cheese, cep snow.

Portland’s Vegan Chili Fries: Fries, Szechuan chilli gravy, bean curd, sesame, spring onion.

Miami’s South Beach Pollo: Corn-dusted fries, white cheese, pulled chicken, avocado.

Cancun’s Costa Maya Mole: Sweet potato fries, queso fresco, mole sauce, micro coriander.

Vancouver’s Stanley Park Poutine: Pine-salted chips, Burford Brown egg, smoked cheddar, celery root gravy.

Buenos Aires’ Chimichurri: Potato chips, grilled Provoleta cheese, chimichurri sauce.

Boston’s Loaded Crab: Chips, fresh crab, gouda cream sauce, scallions, blue cheese crumbles.

The Halifax Downstream Poutine: Chips, Canadian lobster, cheese curds, shellfish gravy.

The Portland’s Vegan Chili Fries was the highlight for me…incredible.
