Food review: Blue Dragon Rice Bake

Another great recipe from Blue Dragon RICE BAKE

Ingredients (that I used)

  • 2x large chicken breasts or other meat (this is a great dish to re-use left over meats)
  • Mushrooms
  • Green pepper
  • Red onion
  • Chili
  • 150 g Rice
  • 1tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4tbsp water
  • Spring onion to garnish

1. Grab a casserole style dish and you will need a lid or some foil to put on top!
2. Preheat the oven to 180C
3. Add the oil to the dish and stir in the rice with the meat and cover in the oil. Place in the oven for 5 minutes
4. Remove the dish from the oven and add the rice bake sauce, I used 'Nasi Goreng'. Then give it a good stir then cook for a further 35 minutes.
5. Fry all the veg you want
6. Take the dish out the oven and mix in the veg, add spring onion to garnish.
7. Then serve


'Nasi Goreng' - An Indonesian style sauce for rice with sweet soy and chili.

'Chinese Special Fried' - A Chinese style sauce for rice with soy and ginger

This dish following the recipe can serve 2 mains or 4 sides.

Check out my creation, different but yum! Make sure you check the rice is at the texture you like, I left mine in an extra 10 minutes to become really soft.
