Vintage Burberry

Happy Monday! Or not so happy if you were travelling to London this morning – when will the trains run on time!!!!
Vintage Burberry
Any who I have a fashion post for you, I know I have been a bit slack with fashion posts recently but hopefully this post will be a good’en with some vintage designer and a cheap as chips denim number and going out of my comfort zone for some funky leopard print heels….crazy I know.

So what am I actually wearing?! Let's start from the top I have literally just turned my head upside down and ruffled my hair for this wind swept / just got out of bed look / couldn’t wash my hair as the shower in our hotel room broke…

Then I have got my classic Gucci sunglasses on and a Kate Spade, disco ball inspired necklace. I am wearing a navy blue long-sleeved top from gap with a vintage denim dress from Rokit, one of the best vintage stores in London. I love it because instead of it looking like a jumble sale everything is so neat and tidy and look like a normal shop and there is also loads of items on their website as well, because who has time to go to the shops these days?!

Even in Newcastle I am baring my legs to soak up the last of the Summer rays and then I am wearing my new statement ankle boots, these leopard print beauties from Duo Boots - I usually get a new pair of Duo Boots every Autumn / Winter because with most of their shoes you can choose your calf width so they fit perfectly.

I then top it all off with a bit of high-end designer with a vintage Burberry trench coat with the classic pattern inside and on the rolled up sleeves. There is even a detachable hood for when it rains.

Pay Day Dreams: Monnier Freres

So every time pay day comes around I dream of the items I will spend all my money on before it disappears like a poof of smoke on bills and food - anyone else get the same feeling?
A website I have just been introduced to MONNIER Freres which holds a huge selection of designer accessories with bags, jewellery, sunglasses, scarves and much more. MONNIER Freres holds some of the best designers and with London Fashion Week over I can coo over the A/W staples that have already hit the runway.

My favourite items are below, which ones yours??

1. Long Collar in Marmot Fur - A fur or faux far staple is always required during the colder months; this one by Yves Salomon is dreamy!
2. Burberry Scarf - This iconic scarf in red has the classic Burberry print and goes great with a casual outfit.
3. Tribeca Bucket Bag - I have owned DKNY bags before and they are great quality and this bucket bag looks like it could fit my life in it.
4. Drew mini chain bag - Everything in miniature was in last season and its sticking around, this Chloe Drew is the one!
5. Gemma Quartz Pendant - A timeless quartz necklace is a subtle statement - Chloe to a tee.
6. LG Susanna Brit Bag - This velvet bag looks divine; Burberry is featuring quite a bit on my favourite list!
7. Reversible Print Scarf - This reversible Burberry scarf is a lot lighter than the fur and perfect to make a sophisticated statement in silk.
8. Small Bucket Drawstring Soleil Bag 3.1 Phillip Lim comes to the rescue with an autumnal bag is a dark purple hue.
9. Handbag Pom Pom - If you’re a fan of the Jenner and Kardashian clan then you have seen a whole host of Pom Poms on their designer handbags. This one from Sophie Hulme will keep you smiling with googly eyes star glasses.

Must Have Scents

Below is some summer scents too wet your appetite for a new fragrance to finish off the summer!

Ore first scent is by Moschino - Pink Bouquet

This has launched in the UK!

From first glance this perfume is adorable and fits perfectly into your hand unlike some of the new brands who seem to think it's a brilliant idea to create a design that you can't really hold - (it may look like a work of art but it's crap)

As the name suggests the aroma of this perfume stems from a bouquet of flowers and has a fun and girly fragrance. To love this perfume, you definitely need to love pink :-), it's a beautiful addition to any girls' vanity table.

The Scents:
The senses are captured by explosive freshness of bergamot and pineapple sorbet, and raspberry pulp delightfully awaken by pony and romantic pink lily of the valley clusters, intensified by mystifying jasmine. The flowery heart is exquisitely laced with gingerbread and mouth-watering peach, for a sweet addiction. The cosmone, an intense and elegant moss, gives to the cosmopolitan a smooth texture

Prices range from £29.50 - £59.00 within the range there is also a shower gel and body lotion so you can smell lovely all over.

Burberry Body

My grandpa gave me this and he did very well - brand new perfume that smells good!

Again a beautiful bottle with gold hinting within the perfume and around the bottle.

The Scents:

It's quite a strong scent and sophisticated, I personally would wear this out in the evening!

You can buy it on Amazon for £44 for 100ml

The next scent has the longest name ever...ready BCBGMAXAZRIA

This is again a more girly fragrance with the bottle resembling a flower in pink :-) Max Azria is the creator, and the legend behind celebrity-favourite Herve Leger.

The Scents:

Its starts with delicious fruity notes and evolves into chic floral symphony. The scent finishes with a mature sandal wood musk.

BCBMAXAZRIA ranges from £44 - £56 and is available in Debenhams, The Fragrance Shop and Next.

Would love to know all your favourite summer scents!
