Holiday Style in Guatemala and Belize

On my latest travel adventure I headed to Guatemala and Belize there is lots more to come to showcase these beautiful locations BUT first let me show you the outfits I wore as that is just as important. Guatemala and Belize are both very hot this time of year around 26° and 29° and depending on where you venture it is humid so be prepared with the right attire and a good bag for all your essentials!

Outfit 1: The Missoni Swimsuit Dupe
I love Missoni but can I afford it, NO?! It is OK though ladies Topshop have a winner and I am in love with this swimsuit for several reasons. 1. Missoni lookalike. 2. You can mix it up with cross over look at the neck. 3. It hides all those squeezy bits. WARNING you will look pretty darn sexy walking around so throw on a kimono like this this fun one with pom pom's from PrettyLittleThing you can purchase it in black or white.

Outfit 2: Welcome To Paradise
Now I am not usually one for outfits that are high neck I feel like its unflattering to the little bit of puppy fat under my arms. But I just could not resist this cute quote 'Welcome To Paradise' which suited my holiday perfectly and in metallic which my wardrobe was craving. I partnered this with the comfiest shorts in history another winner from Pretty Little Thing and the cute little bow at the front makes them so girly. Also become a proper tourist and buy a little bangle or bracelet to remember your travels mine is like a little friendship bracelet from Visit Guatemala, I still am wearing it today.

FYI: Hand wash the body as the metallic starts going back to black!
Outfit 3: The White Dress

Do not look at my hair, it is in desperate need of highlighting!! On another note I love this dress, a simple white dress. I never usually wear white as I find they are always see through but this one has triple layers so it is a dream. I also love the detailing of mini bobbles and intricate cutouts in the first layer. Just do not eat around the dress.

Outfit 4: Blue on Blue
Firstly I will give you a sneak peek of my article on Guatemala - the walls are incredible everyone is a beautiful colour like this aquamarine number, wait until you see the others.

Now focusing back on the outfit this blue striped Zara smock style dress is quite different to my usual style with gathered detail. On the back the stripes go in a different direction for a bib look. The dress is really flattering and with the fabric being quite light it is perfect in the humid weather.

Outfit 5: Trekking in the Jungle
This is the day we went Trekking in Tikal, Guatemala and the Jungle was HOT. To fit the occasion I wore green Reeboks which you can not see here but I am in love. I matched these with BooHoo ripped high waisted, mom shorts. Usually I feel totally trapped in high waisted shorts but not with these, they have lots of room and look really flattering with ripped detail on the front and the back. The top I partnered with this ensemble is an old fave from Topshop. On my back to carry all my essentials including lots of water is from Smith and Canova and you can see more pictures of this here.

Outfit 6: Colour in Antigua
Antigua was one of my favourites places in Guatemala, so full of colour and I needed to brighten up my outfits for the occasion although this was before I left my beloved Gucci sunglasses in the hotel room, fingers crosses they are in transit to my parents house.
