6 fragrances for Spring

6 fragrances for Spring
Are you ready for Spring? the days are getting longer and the UK is getting warmer so it is time to not only refresh my wardrobe but my scent collection as well and these six beauties smell delicious and look oh so pretty!

My obsession with Jimmy Choo is back with L'eau. The brand have kept to a similar style to Jimmy Choo, Exotic but the bottle has gone on a diet. Jimmy Choo brings sensuality into this bottle with fresh top notes, hints of citrus with bergamot and hibiscus flower (FYI if you try a hibiscus flower is a glass of Prosecco it tastes amazing!) and with the addition of nectarine you get a fruity twist. My favourite flower tops off the sent and adds a sweet note, the peony and of course cedarwood trails throughout.

Overall this fragrance wins again being sexy, floral and a tiny bit fruity!

If you can’t get Cartier jewels the fragrance Baiser Fou is the next best thing. The scent has been inspired by lipstick, with the phrase ‘with a taste of a kiss’ etched through the campaign. This fragrance has an irresistible chocolaty scent that lingers, orchid that adds a touch of floral which ensures this is a sensual but a feminine scent.

Again, Narciso Rodriquez fragrances have been integrated into my fragrance collection for a while (check out 4 Summer Scents) and the new pop of bright pink draws you in at first sight. As the name suggest this is a floral based fragrance based around the signature scent of musc with pink peppercorns, adding spice and then the delicate touch of rose, amber and patchouli for a soft scent.

The scent lingers for hours which is a bonus and it was an exclusive to Selfridges but just launched nationwide on the 13th March 2017.

Now this is a fragrance I have never tried before but the girly bottle pulled me in. I see the brand and bottle channeling confident women, I have no idea why but it links in with the branding of a ‘Modern Day Goddess’.

The scent is strong and sexy and perfect for a night out or date night with oriental tones: vanilla amber accord, orange blossom and white pepper with floral undertones seeping through.

Victor & Rolf, Flowerbomb has appeared several times on this little lifestyle blog, most recently on finding the perfect gift for a friend. I see this as my ultimate luxury fragrance and only use it for special occasions. I remember when my bestie wore it at University and I fell in love with the flirty and girly scent. I can’t even explain what it smells like it’s just like a ball of lush.

Jean Paul Gautier is my sister's favourite scent, she is one of those people who never ventures far from her favourite fragrance and why would you when it smells this good. The Classique fragrance has only a few subtle changes keeping with the classic Jean Paul Gautier style.

The refined scent has a bit of spice with ginger and chilli accord as key top notes with orange flower and a subtle hint of jasmine at the heart. Finishing off the scent there are woody and amber tones at the base.

This is an Classique and irresistible scent.
