Hunter 486 is a trendy bar and restaurant in London located in The Arch
Hotel on Great Cumberland Place, near to Marble Arch tube station. It takes its
name from the 1950’s district dialing code for Marylebone and is styled from
the same era, combining classic glamour and timeless hospitality to provide a
fantastic eating experience.
We were treated to a bottle of Drylands, Sauvignon Blanc from the
Marlborough region of New Zealand, which complimented our starters of Pan Fried
Scallops with chili jam & mango salsa, and Baked Prawns with tomato &
garlic sauce. For mains we had a lovely Peppered Loin of Venison with beetroot
puree, turnip & potato gratin and a tender rib eye steak.
Other options that looked great on the menu included one of the
meals cooked in the authentic stone oven such as Roast Black Leg free range
chicken or the roast whole seabass with orange & rosemary butter. Hunter
486 also offer an express menu served at lunch and a Sunday roast with all the
trimmings...!
The location and style of the restaurant are fantastic and the
food is even better. We highly recommend taking the time to visit this cool
restaurant, you won’t regret it.
