Review: Fleur de Force Eyelashes

Bloggers and Vloggers are bringing out products left, right and centre these days mainly with good old Superdrug - jealous much?!? Yes!!! If I got asked to bring out a beauty product it would definitely be a toss-up between nail polishes or eyelashes and Eyelure lashes are my go-to night out essential.

On to Fleur de Force with an enviable following, I mean hundreds of thousands and a fab YouTube channel I am sure her fans will be flocking to snap up her lashes with out anyone needing to review them. On first glance Fleur has used my favourite colour palette of pastels making the packaging very girly. On a more technical level Fleur's lashes feature 'stone-ground lash tips' which is new technology for Eylure, softening each lash tip for a more natural look.

Simply Fleur: These are not really my style for lashes, a bit thin and fan out a bit too much, they look more of a day time lash if you don't want a style that is too thick.

Fleur & Fabulous: These are my faves adding VOLUME but not so much that I scream "too much makeup love"! I sometimes feel that with fake lashes they are two crazy at the side and make your eyes look two heavy and pretty ridiculous. I always trim fake eyelashes so they don't go too far off the eye. (Fleur & Fabulous are featured in the photos below)

Couture Fleur: This style lash are literally a life saver they will bring your lashes to life when they are looking a bit 'blah' and not look fake at all - you literally just need to add two or three to the edges of your eyes for a more voluminous look and Fleurs are great.

Eyelash Tip: Once you place the glue on the eyelash run it along your lash line and then re-apply glue to the lash. So when you attach the fake lash you have a guide and some tackiness for the lash to attach.

The collection starts from £5.25

New faves: Eylure Lashes

The Price: Start from £4.95
Where2Buy: www.eylure.com

We all have our favourite lashes, mine were Cheryl Coles from the original Girls Aloud collection then I moved on to Eylures individual lashes but I think I have found a new fave from the new collection - N0 101 Volume.

These 'Volume' full, shorter length lashes, really open up the eye and perfect for a more natural look but still keeping it glam!

I think the secret is keeping the length at the sides short with no odd flicks at the side making the lashes look even more fake! They are also a lot easier to put on the eye.

I can safely say that these are the first lashes I have kept for the next occasion usually I don't care and they get placed in  the bin half way through the night or at home but these are my new favorites!

The rest of the collection are great to for adding more texture or a little bit more drama to your outfit.

Volume pumps up the lashes, giving depth to fill out the lash line, supporting your own lashes to create natural, voluminous lashes

Texture lashes not only offer volume but a ‘roughed up’ ‘messed up’ look, supplying layers of textured depth perfect for day or night, or both

Dramatic lashes are the longest, fullest, lashes available and are the last resort for when you simply can’t help but make a statement.

The Only Way Is Essex

With the end of the season we are already missing the fake tans and the drama but here are some things to keep you looking reem!

Lauren's Way
Get the Essex look with Lauren's way tan and lashes!

So yes, most of the Essex ladies have their own ranges out…but Laurens is actually really good and perfect to get that Essex look - so have a look at the products the Time2Gossip team have tried:

Gradual Tan - RRP £11.95
This definitely beats the Doves and Johnson’s gradual Tan as you can barley tell the difference. But I do suggest using a tanning mitt and although it is a body moisturiser you will get streaks if it’s not applied well but overall a good tan slightly on the orange side but that’s what I was going for!

Self Tanning Bronzing Lotion – RRP £15.95
From having a peek inside the bottle its dark! Already getting excited about my Essex tan J and it provides an instant bronzed glow, so no need to stay pale for long! This tan has a lingering smell of oranges making it the most yummy tan I have ever worn.

Tan Enhancing Mosituriser£13.95
This just gives your fake tan a little helping hand before tanning to make sure there is no build up on those dry areas and remember to use it in between your applications for a longer lasting tan.

Lauren’s Way Lashes£5.95
Now you have the tan you need the lashes and Laurens Way has that covered – I am usually a traditionalist and stick with the ‘SAFE’ girls aloud lashes but the Laurens Way lashes could turn out to be a fave. Adding length and definition these are a definite winner.

Laurens Way Luxury Lashes£5.95
The luxury Lashes are not as extravagant as the ‘lashes’ and don’t really suit me, but they are a bit shorter and blunt so Lauren has tapped into a niche as I have not seen too many lashes like these ones – I am sure there are many people who love them!

So you want to look like Lydia

Lydia Bright always looks glamorous and with this dress it shows – wearing, brand new fashion label BESELF – The Erieta Dress looks fabulous.

Smooch it up

Smooch Cosmetics is used by Jessica Wright from TOWIE and here are some key staples to get you started – and so cheap prices start from £4.95

And I know she is not in TOWIE anymore but I just love these shoes from Kandeeshoes!!!! The Limonade Booties
